MEET THE DOCTOR

Dr. Michael Young is a proud long-term resident of Acadiana.  He completed high school in Chataignier, LA in 1994. His work ethic and sense of business were sharpened by hours spent "running the traps" in family crawfish ponds. He began his collegiate career at LSU Eunice where he studied basic sciences and nursing. He moved on to LSU Baton Rouge pursuing a biochemistry degree with the intent of applying to dental school. Dr. Young started LSU School of Dentistry in 1999 and graduated in 2003. He has worked as an associate dentist in other practices while taking many hours of continuing education.  His C. E. training includes courses in cosmetic and implant dentistry. After two years as an associate dentist, Dr. Young opened his own state-of-the-art dental practice in 2005.  He is committed to treating every patient as a guest in his home. His goal is to provide highest quality patient care with the latest in technology while maintaining a small hometown experience for you.
